Mentoring is a relationship between two individuals based on the needs and aspirations of the young person/mentee and the abilities and resources of the adult /mentor. Each relationship develops the “roots” of the foundation and the “wings” to take it further. GLRW recruits mentors from the corporate business world to support young people, aged 13-16, to reach their full potential as members of society. In relaunching themselves as a recognisable brand, GLRW highlighted the growing success of the programme, opening new doors for their charity and generating fresh opportunities for their mentees. The butterfly was the established symbol. The brief required an upgraded version of the original to be incorporated into the logo.
